EL EVENTO
10 DÍAS DE CLASES + 1 EVENTO DE CIERRE INOLVIDABLE
Pensamos al "Eleven al Tango" desde el TTD como una herramienta para les trabajadores del Tango Danza viviendo la pandemia en Argentina y surge como una forma solidaria de generar trabajo, promover la circulación de estudiantes entre les distintes docentes y visibilizar tanto la situación crítica que nuestro sector está atravesando (además de la que históricamente atraviesa) como la gran cantidad de docentes y profesionales del Tango que existen hoy en día en el país.
Es una forma de permitir un acercamiento de hacedores locales con estudiantes de todo el mundo y es una forma de generar-nos trabajo REMUNERADO de forma comunitaria, solidaria y colaborativa, en pos no solo de la coyuntura actual sino también de continuar fomentando nuevas formas de trabajo en equipo que nos beneficien como comunidad toda.
¿Porqué Eleven?
Porque entre el 1 y el 11 (que en inglés se dice "eleven") de Diciembre aportamos nuestra tarea de elevar al Tango dando trabajo y reconocimiento a profesionales docentes y continuando poniendo en valor nuestra importancia como hacedores de la cultura nacional en Argentina.
Son 11 días de evento y además lo terminamos festejando entre todes el 11 de diciembre, que es el Día Nacional del Tango, en conmemoración al nacimiento de Carlos Gardel y Julio De Caro. ¡Así que 11 ó “eleven” para tutti!
¿Qué es lo diferente en el Eleven?
Vas a tener 60 clases disponibles de las cuales vas a poder elegir 3. Hasta ahí, no hay mucha novedad. Pero, lo distinto es que tendrás que elegir las clases según EL TEMA ya que no vas a conocer qué docente estará dándola... hasta que entres al aula virtual!
Y eso ¿por qué?
Porque somos originales, porque nos gustan las sorpresas y, sobre todo, porque entendemos que tiene que ver con un propósito de confianza hacia la labor de TODO el sector docente y no solamente hacia una persona o pareja, promoviendo así la unidad y el trabajo de toda la COMUNIDAD.
Y porque se nos ocurrió que es una buena forma de que les estudiantes se encuentren con docentes que tal vez no conocían :)
THE EVENT
10 DAYS OF CLASSES + 1 UNFORGETTABLE CLOSING EVENT
We came up with the “Eleven al Tango” event at the TTD as a tool for the Tango dance workers in Argentina trying to survive through this pandemic. It arises as a solidary way of generating work, promoting the circulation of students among different teachers and making our critical situation visible -the current and the historical one of our sector-. Eleven al Tango is a means for also bring to light/divulge the great and vast amount of teachers and Tango professionals that currently exist and work in the country.
Eleven al Tango will enable us to bring local tango doers with students from all over the world closer and together and is a way for generating (us) working opportunities in a cooperative, collaborative and communitarian way, not only to face this crisis and go through it but also in alignment with our value of promoting new ways of team work that may benefit the whole community.
Why “Eleven”?
Because between Dec 1-11 we contribute to elevate Tango (“to elevate” in Spanish is “eleven”) by creating working opportunities and recognition for Tango professionals, bringing to light our value as national culture creators and developers in Argentina.
It’s going to be 11 days all in all, and we’ll finish celebrating altogether on Dec 11: the National Day for Tango, commemorating Carlos Gardel’s and Julio De Caro’s births.
So, 11 or “Eleven” for everyone!
What makes the “Eleven” different?
That you’re going to have 60 different classes available, of which you’ll have to pick 3. The difference is in the fact that you’ll have to choose by the TOPIC of the class but you won’t be knowing who is going to be teaching it… until you get into the virtual class!
And why is that? / What is it for?
Because we are original/because we like surprises/but, moreover, because we understand that it has to do with a matter of trust in the work of all the teaching sector and not only in one person or couple in particular, promoting in this way the UNITY and development of the COMMUNITY all.
And because we thought it’s a good way for students to meet new teachers that they/you may not know ;)
